Christway Christmas Outreach Serves Skid Row

This Christmas, Christway brought the message of hope and compassion to Skid Row in Los Angeles through a community outreach focused on serving people experiencing homelessness. On December 25, volunteers and supporters came together to distribute essential supplies and connect with individuals across the neighborhood.

The outreach provided sandwiches and warm meals to help meet immediate needs during the holiday. Volunteers also distributed warm clothing including jackets, sweaters, and blankets to help protect against cold winter nights in downtown Los Angeles.

Families and children present during the outreach received toys, adding moments of joy during the Christmas season. Care packages also included hygiene kits, feminine products, and basic first aid supplies to help meet everyday health and personal care needs.

Beyond distributing supplies, volunteers spent time speaking with people, listening to their stories, and offering encouragement. Many meaningful conversations took place throughout the day, creating moments of connection and support during the holiday.

Outreach efforts like this are part of Christway’s ongoing mission to serve communities through faith, compassion, and practical care. By addressing both physical needs and emotional encouragement, the organization aims to demonstrate God’s love in real and tangible ways.

The Christmas outreach was made possible through the support of volunteers, donors, and community members who worked together to serve Skid Row during the holiday season.
